We will ride on our bicycles through our hometown making our way to three different cenotes around our community. Physical wear with the bicycles is minimum. We spend most of the time in the water. Riding the bicycles will be, 20-25 mins(total). Distance from cenote to cenote is 5-10 mins. If you are looking for a fancy activity, something fast, big company tours, this is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. Join us for an intimate artisanal mezcal tasting & dinner pairing in our private jungle garden at our home in the center of Tulum Pueblo! Solo travelers, couples & friends are all welcome to our garden where we will prepare a 5-course dinner cooked on the fire paired with 1 ounce tastings of five artisanal, small-batch mezcals sourced from different regions around the country. We create a prix fixe menu using locally sourced ingredients for every experience and are happy to accommodate any food allergies or dietary restrictions that we are notified of in *advance*. Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. This is a unique experience, we will meet at a park and sit on a blanket surrounded by crystals. You will be taken through a 1:1 healing and cleansing experience. They will have an angel card reading and chakra cleansing while being taken through some breathing exercises. Beekeeping experience with Honey tasting: Learn hands on how to inspect a bee hive and extract pure natural honey directly from the comb. You will learn how to put on beekeepers jacket, light a bee smoker and use a hive tool to cut comb and taste varietal honey directly from an active bee hive. The honey bee hives are located in your choice of three bee rescue apiaries in the Baton Rouge area (Health Food Store Community Garden, Meditation Temple garden or Rural Life Field). We limit the group size to focus on the personalization of your interests and preferences. Message me for groups up to 10 people to create a unique group experience. This is a perfect introduction to beekeeping for people who want a colony or want to learn more about how to Save the Bees. I am flexible on the scheduled time and preferred location. In a beautiful Mexican-style house, surrounded by gardens, our Culinary Experience starts off with a brief, yet quite informative, introduction to the essential flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine We will also do a mezcal tasting so you can learn how to identify a good one! Then, moving on to the unique experience of preparing an authentic Mexican meal from scratch! We try to always use traditional utensils, like metate and molcajete, to have a real cooking experience. Many of the dishes you will learn and help cook come from my own family’s cookbook. By the end of the class, we sit down in one table to share the food and the experience itself! This all happens in an ambiance full of joy, music and laughter, recreating the sense of fellowship and warmth of cooking at home with friends.

Podrás conocer el árbol tóxico, el árbol doctor el árbol del chicle, y otros. Plantarás un árbol en la jungla mejorarando así tu huella ecológica. Conocerás la abeja melipona sin aguijón y podrás degustar su miel y aprender un poco mas acerca de la polinización y la vida y costumbres de este insecto declarado recientemente por la ONU el ser vivo mas importante del planeta. Tras la visita emprenderemos al melipona río nos dirigiremos a nuestra unidad de manejo ambiental para conocer de cerca las actividades e iremos por un sendero en la jungla hasta llegar a 200 metros a un magnifico cenote subterráneo donde podrás zambullirte y nadar en sus aguas iluminadas y cristalinas.

From there we will ride together to Guanabacoa, our hometown. Once there, you will learn about the influence of the Afro-Cuban religions in our cuisine while we share a typical beverage. Then, Jose´s mom will show you how to cook in our local style, having the opportunity to understand when, why, and how we prepare each dish. Finally, we will enjoy tasting the different plates that we prepared and, in that moment, when we are laughing and sharing our personal stories under the rhythm of drums, you will realize that the simple act of eating assumes mystical dimensions and has the power to bring strangers together like family. At the end of the day you will know how flavors, music and dance tell the story of the desires and struggles of our African ancestors. This experience focuses on the difficult process of making a cigar. From the hand of an experienced cigar roller we will learn to make an examplar, we will explain all the specificities that accompany the process of making this product, from the time it is grown, until it reaches your hands. This will be the perfect time for our CIGAR CHALLENGE, after which we will reward the best cigar roller of the experience. After choosing our winner (special ceremony included), we will go on to what we consider to be an authentic ritual: the smoking of the habano, action that we will combine with other delights, giving way to an excellent pairing among cigars, rum and coffee. And then, SURPRISE, a second contest!! We will be competing among each other to select the person who manages to keep the longest cigar ash, and the one who best performs some other tricks we will be teaching you. This is called: LONG ASH CONTEST. At the end of the experience more gifts will come, and that is because we do not want you to leave without taking with you souvenirs related to this experience, so you will be bringing home with you some amazing memories but also little things that will forever remind you of Cuba. Hello !! Ready to live this amazing experience? First, you will arrive at our bar where you will check in with us. You should arrive at least 30 minutes before the experience, so you will have enough time to order drinks and food that will accompany you to the top of our beautiful tower. Food and drinks are not included. Please keep in mind that it is not allowed to bring in drinks or food from outside. Keep your personal belongings in the lockers, and get your camera and phone ready because we have wifi, in case you want to broadcast live. When all the guests are ready, we will go to our gondola where 16 people at a time will live this exciting moment. We will go up to 118 feet high, very smoothly. The duration of this experience is 30 minutes, during which you will be able to sing along with our karaoke and listen to your favorite melodies surrounded by this great show in the middle of the Mayan jungle of Tulum. Our tower is located very close to the archaeological zone of Tulum, from here you will be able to take the best pictures of the sea and the ancient Mayan constructions. When it is time to go down our hostess will indicate it and then we will gently descend until we touch the ground. Finally, we can show you all the pictures we took and if you wish the fun can continue in our Bar.

We'll take you on an unforgettable tour in our Hacienda-Natural Reserve in Yucatan, picking you up. Transportation will be with a new and comfortable private car or with a professional Van. You will be the protagonist of this unique experience and will enjoy the Cenotes and the jungle in total privacy, no other people or groups. We practice Slow Tourism, far away from massive tourism! Once arrived we'll have a fresh homemade welcome snack and you'll meet with our horses and learn about how to interact with them. We'll go to our first cenote riding horse and bicycle through the forest; during the riding, we'll observe the flora and the fauna of our private reserve. Half of our small group will go by horse, half by bike, and the opposite for returning. We can spot spider and howler monkeys, deer, tropical birds, and tucans in the Mayan jungle. After enjoying our first cenote swimming and taking photos, we'll go to the second Cenote, el Cenote Sagrado or Cenote de Los Ancestros, a wonderful natural temple writing the history of the Yucatan Peninsula on its inside. You will take your time for swimming, meditating, and healing yourself. Then, we'll go back to the Hacienda and eat local handmade traditional food. After a chill-out time, we'll return to the coast. The Experience will take place with a minimum of 2 participants

The adventure begins in the village "Viñales" where we will ride a horse and travel about tow hours through the interiors of the Palmarito Valley located in the heart of the mountains; Our resting point will be “La Ceiba” where we can taste traditional drinks and learn about crops, animals and tobacco plantations for about an hour. After enjoying the colors and the fresh air of the countryside, we will return to Viñales on horseback another two hours of travel; We are going to visit the lagoon “La Cabra Sabrosa” so you be able to have a bathing in fresh waters, then we comback to expect a beautiful sunset under the shelter of the Viewpoint “Rising Sun”. Local tourism is part of our tour which takes you directly to people-to-people exchange will be visiting some of the community projects in Havana City, such as: - D'Brujas , it's a store outside of the ordinary, the place , the shop, all is part of the same máster piece of art related with beauty and soap. -Hamel Alley: the most famous alley in the Havana City related with Santeria and witchchaft from the Afrocuban religion. - Clandestina: the most famous and original design shop In the old city - La marca tattoos: where all your tattoos came true - Hairdressers Alley and La Moneda Cubana: bussines in the day and school for the community too , improving and encouraging young Cuban people to do the best they can. We will have some time to exchange experiences with this people and the community, kids, young and the old ones and see how this project change their life.
