During short walks along tree lined paths at these smaller falls, you’ll learn about the geology of the area followed by a stop at a coffee shop chain that has become part of the Canadian identity. Then, we’ll hop in the car and continue to Niagara's wine region, where we will stop for a tasting (including ICE wine) at one of Niagara Regions most award winning wineries. After a delicious sit down lunch, we’ll go to the world-famous Niagara Falls where you will bathe in the mist from the Falls as we walk along the rim of the Niagara Gorge. This experience is for individuals, kids, or couples/dance partners, and we will relearn the art of Salsa or Bachata (your choice. or both!) in leading and following. NOTE: If you don't see a booking date/time available, please just direct message me, and I will try to accommodate! I love dancing Salsa/Bachata because of the passionate music and sensuality. We'll practice the basic steps with a fusion into casual social dance with a partner. You will learn about timing, rhythm, turn patterns, body waves, hand holds, and sensing your partner. We'll have fun and you'll learn to dance with confidence. This lesson is for EVERYONE - from beginners with little or no dance experience to experienced salsa/bachata dancers. The class will last 1 hour. The goal is to give the male leader new leading skills and to teach the female follower to be present in the moment. It's a relatively foreign dance style, but it’s entertaining for sure! Btw, Salsa/Bachata is a fantastic way to connect with your partner on a romantic date night!!! I will show you how to work with the clay, get it ready for the wheel, center it, and eventually start shaping. Usually students can make either a small bowl, plate, mug or vase on their first try. You will get up to 30 minutes of time on the wheel which is plenty to create one item, and then you can add accents to your piece i.e. handle and you'll get to handbuild for the remainder of the time (add accents to your piece). You can take the pottery home with you the same day you make them, or—if you'd like—I can fire your work, glaze it, and ship it to you for a small fee. We will meet at Le Temps Perdu then take a short drive to the accessible boat launch on stunning Buck Lake. Slide the canoes into the lake packed with a delicious and refreshing picnic lunch, gear and blankets. Paddle for approximately 45 minutes through the clear waters passing a few untouched islands to the trail head. Following the trail through the diverse flora of the forest we will arrive at our picnic destination at the Mink Outlook. We will spend a relaxing hour at this location where you are welcome to explore the surroundings, nap or just soak up the sights and sounds. We will then make our way back to the canoes while I can identify some of the natural medicinal and edible plants. The afternoon sun will provide the backdrop for the return paddle to the boat launch. Lean back and feel the serenity of the waters slipping away beneath your canoe with a full belly and the warmth of the summer sun on your face. This excursion is perfectly tailored to satisfy both body and soul! Other things to note As this is a day trip we require at least 2 days notice. Picture your self in a canoe, at night, in front of one of the most picturesque city skylines in the world. In this after dark experience, you will be right in front of the downtown illuminated by millions of lights, while still being in the wilderness of the Toronto Islands. As visitors head back to the city, it’s mostly just us on a deserted islands, surrounded by nature. It’s a unique and one of a kind of experience where you’re simultaneously present in a densely populated urban environment and, at the same time, completely empty park. We all are going to be in one canoe, with a safety navigation lights switched on. We will paddle to the lookout out point, to watch the night view of the city and to experience the contrast between the urban and remote. You will have a great opportunity for some great shots.

We will take some lifestyle portraits in a park - this park gets new decorations every season and is a cultural hub. We will then continue walking towards the oldest street in the neighborhood. This area has a few of the oldest historical buildings in Toronto and a slight European feel. We will stop to admire the stark contrast between new condos and old buildings including some public street art, the chic coffee truck and the street with the most loved Italian restaurants. We will also stop at any spots that you consider photo-worthy. We will end the tour back on Bloor street - one of the most luxurious shopping streets in North America. We start with a tour of the backyard and an introduction to greens you may have never met before. Say "hello" to kale, chard, sorrel, nettle and the more familiar lettuce and parsley. In addition to greens I'll demonstrate how I care for other vegetables, including peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, beans and squash as well as rhubarb and strawberries. Next you roll up your sleeves and get your hands in the dirt. You have a chance to prepare the ground and plop seeds into the soil. I'll teach you about my watering technique and tell you some of my weeding tips. My goal is to inspire U to Grow It! for you and your family at home. Other things to note This is a hands-on, tactile & active experience. You will get dirt under your fingernails, and you will see, touch & smell the magic of mother nature.
