This is my favourite summer lake in all of the parks, you'll feel as if you are seeing heaven on earth as we drive through the Valley of the Ten Peaks! This experience is about wowing you all day! We'll adapt your day according to wildlife sightings, weather conditions, and traffic flow for better enjoyment. Our small groups are up to 10 guests and your day will last 10 to 12 hours depending on the season. Your adventure will start from the moment we pick you up in Downtown Calgary or Canmore, until we drop you off again at the end of the day! Kayaking the lake at dusk is always a magical experience. Imagine yourself gliding across the clear waters of Lake Tahoe as they change from emerald-blue to pink and purple. As you look up into the sky, you will see the sun slowly sinking behind the majestic peaks of Lake Tahoe’s West Shore. This is one unforgettable experience you will not want to miss. Tour start-times vary as the days get shorter. We aim to launch this tour 2 hours before sunset. Please Note: In order for the tour to go ahead, we require at least two participants. If you are a single person, please go ahead and book as you may be able to join an existing party. We will reach out to you directly if we need to reschedule.

First you’ll buckle up—we’ll pick you up in a UTV and start the adventure well before you canyoneer through the canyons. Then you’ll buckle in—once we arrive on the east side of Zion, you’ll learn how to safely rappel these secret slots with a licensed team of guides there to hold your rope (and your hand). With private access to the slots, you’ll get to hike, canyoneer, and rappel the world in between. Bring your camera so you can capture all your Indiana Jones-style adventure. Immersive tea tasting in our little tea house, featuring different tabletop flower arrangements and aromatherapy every week!. There will be Chinese style tea art demonstrations and on certain holidays Guzheng ( Chinese musical instrument) performances. Guests will choose between black tea, oolong tea, yellow tea, green tea, dark tea and scented teas from China at different tea tasting times. I have been in touch with tea since I was 10 years of age and it has always been a part of my life. I am a landscape architect and an enthusiastic tea artist. After I moved to America, my partner and husband Joseph singlehandedly built the tea house for me, according to my design. Everything including the slab table was made by Joseph over a period of two years. Now I would like to share with others this tea house full of love energy and my love of Chinese tea, the etiquette of drinking tea and interesting stories of China.

Come and spend a day at a farm and make art! We are a woman owned organic farm located near the Sandy River. We have converted a century old dairy barn into a ceramic studio. Let’s spend the day playing with clay and learning together. Here we have options based around your skill level and interests. I can lead you on the potters wheel or in hand building techniques. For an additional cost of $25 per person I will fire your projects in my kiln and you can choose a glaze color for your finished pieces. We’ll introduce you to the process and materials that comprise fragrance creation. We'll spend about half the workshop smelling our way through a selection of over 45 raw ingredients, while discussing fragrance and blending techniques. You'll spend the remainder of the workshop developing and blending your own fragrance, with tips and pointers along the way. After this, you'll turn your fragrance into a 10mL oil-based roll-on personal fragrance. You’ll take home your very own scent creation compounded and mixed into a 10mL roll-on bottle of perfume. Other things to note: Avoid wearing strong fragrances to this workshop as it may disrupt yours' and others' olfactory experience.

While visiting the artist's studio, you learn the process of blowing glass, and basic glassblowing techniques including taking a gather, marvering, blow'n-cap, and shaping glass. The workshop is very hands-on, focused on the process instead of the final product. With experienced glass artists, you make 2 to 3 small objects such as a paperweight, ornament/float, and/or drinking glass, to take home. Glassblowing is a team work. We strongly recommend to experience this with another person. If you are solo, you may still book a spot. However, the single booker should expect to finish earlier. Best to wear a cotton top and cotton pants. Open-toed shoes are not allowed. Please bring a pair of sunglasses with you. Be prepared to be hot and sweaty, and to have fun! BYOB if you like. We'll begin with an in-depth tour of our Past Worlds gallery and end with a behind-the-scenes visit inside our Paleo Lab. In the gallery, we will talk about dinosaurs found in Utah (some known exclusively from our own collections) and explore the ecosystems and adaptations that make these animals so fascinating. Inside the Paleo Lab, we will get a sneak peek at the projects that our paleontology volunteers are working on and learn about the techniques used to prepare our most recent discoveries. The tour is for adults and teens 13 years or older. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum number of participants is 10. Admission is complementary with purchase of the experience. Admission fees cannot be deducted from the package price. Tour length is approximately 2 hours or so, depending on group discussions. Face masks are optional and not required.

A fly rod is built in the same way that bamboo grows. From the bottom, or butt, to the tip. You will remove a node from a 12' culm of Tonkin bamboo, using a small hack saw, as the first step in seeing how a custom 8' node-less fly rod is made. Then you will split one of 72 splints needed to form the tip or butt of the rod with a hammer and knife. You will scarf one splint to shape it for gluing. Fancy planing, shaping the cork handle, and silk wrapping will be demonstrated along with the final varnish dip. At the end of the class you are invited to cast a variety of rods that I have made with a casting lesson on the "green river" of my lawn. In 2 hours you will see how the rod is made but you will not build a completed rod -- my first rod took me 100 hours. Other things to note Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. If you have a favorite fly reel that you want to try on a finished rod bring it along.

Do something incredibly unique, climb huge trees 100-200 ft tall, including some rare old-growth trees. Explore and learn about unique ecosystem and wildlife of trees. Once you reach the top of the canopy, enjoy an incredible view of ocean, mountains, and wildlife including bald eagles. Great for groups, teams, and team-building too! Our itinerary will consist of: 1) Meeting and introducing ourselves 2) Signing a liability waiver 3) Listening to a safety talk and gear overview 4) Participating in a climbing techniques tutorial 5) Getting geared-up and checked by your guide 6) Completing a practice climb on our demo tree 7) Walking to the more secluded climbing trees 8) Climb multiple trees, between 100 and 200 feet high. Depending on the group and the climbers' ability, you will ascend one to four trees. Climbing 20 stories up coastal Douglas fir trees offers a stunning perspective few have ever seen. It is the Certified Horsemanship Association’s recommendation that the weight of the rider does not exceed 20% of the weight of the horse. We can accommodate a maximum weight of 220 pounds. These surfing lessons are catered to you, or you and your party, by our esteemed surf instructors, Dan, Ollie Richardson, and Kirk Tice. They are National Surf School and Instructor Association certified and local legends. They are versatile surfers, from teaching beginners, to taking on the local big wave, Nelscott and are just happy to be in the water! Kirk Tice has beaten Kelly Slater twice in competition and is the head judge for the world surfing competition! The Oregon Coast can be a challenging place to surf but Ollie, Dan, and Kirk will teach you what you need to know to understand, navigate, and surf their home breaks. Forecasting from seasoned surfers is important here on our coast as conditions are constantly changing. We have a common phrase here in Oregon, if you don't like the weather wait five minutes and it will change. These guys are full of knowledge, experience, and laughter! The lesson does include gear (wetsuit, boots & surfboard) and we have a full rental fleet to meet your needs or if you want, bring your own surfboard, wetsuit, and boots! Iar. Other things to note With surf instruction there are two things to keep in mind. We require at least 24 hour notice before your desired date to notify instructors.

We will meet at arranged location/ time and hit the water for a full day experience on one of many trophy lakes in the area. We will target giant rainbow trout on the fly. (Will provide instruction for new fly fisherman or we can use spinning rods with flies for those not willing to take on the challenge) 2 people Max per boat. I promote catch and release fisheries but in the event that someone wishes to keep a couple fish for a meal and the regulations permit it then this is ok by me. Maximum 2 anglers per boat.

We’ll stop at a bakery half-way for refreshments, and some treats. Once we have our energy back, we’ll be on our way to see the rest of this magnificent city.

All this started back in 1956, when the pathway system was unofficially developed as a network of trails that connected the surrounding neighborhoods throughout the community. We'll start our walk at the historic Westwind barn which serves as a horse boarding and training facility. The trail will take us through the Byrne Preserve with its many oak trees. You'll get a feel of the lifestyle of silicon valley executives who choose Los Altos hills as their retreat from the hustle and bustle of the valley. We will walk on paths and neighborhood streets at a leisurly pace and be ready to climb and descent in order to have the views.

This guided tour is great for beginner kayakers or those unfamiliar with Beaver Creek. Sit back and let us do all the work! We will bring the kayaks to you, give you a guided tour, then we load everything up and bring it back to the shop for you. You will receive 2 hours of basic kayak instruction, a guided tour of the creek, and information about the variety of wildlife found in the area. Our guides, Aidan, Scott or Dan, can help you spot river otter, nutria, beaver, heron, and osprey along the paddle. Scott Siegel has been exploring the Oregon Coast for the last 30 years and is always excited to share his passion for the water with others. After the guided tour has finished Ona Beach State Park is right across the highway and is a beautiful place to have lunch or go beach combing. The essential introduction to Portland. We’ll hop on well-traveled bike lanes stopping to admire the views of downtown, the river and the city’s many bridges. Then we ride along the waterfront past the brick and cast iron fronted buildings of Old Town built in the 19th and early 20th century. Next our tour will head into Chinatown where the streets once teemed with immigrants from all over the world. From there we’ll roll through the Pearl District where turn-of-the-century warehouses have been turned into art galleries, shops, restaurants and condos. We’ll pass Henry Weinhard’s 140 year old brewery before heading downtown. The tour cruises past a number of our favorite food carts before entering the South Park Blocks – separated from the North blocks by a century of legal battles. We’ll pedal through Oregon’s largest university then turn downhill to the waterfront and the Willamette River, lifeblood of the city and state. Time permitting, we'll ride into some east side neighborhoods with food carts, gorgeous houses, rose gardens and vibrant shopping districts before crossing the river again. Ebike upgrade, only $20!
