We will meet at our local fishermen dock where we will start our adventure and then we will visit a local market, local shops, walk inside of the neighborhood, eat local and authentic breakfast, visit a typical house, eat (helado de fundita), visit the neighborhood’s sign and interact with the locals. We will also ride the Santo Domingo’s cable car, where you will see a good amount of colorful neighborhoods from above all the way from the national district to Northern Santo Domingo, hear their history, and also ride the Santo Domingo’s train. Then back to the meeting point. Additional: A boat ride can be included at an additional charge passing underneath six of the most important bridges in Santo Domingo, seeing the tree where Christopher Columbus tied up his ships during his visits to Santo Domingo, first university in America Christopher Columbus son’s castle, first chapel built in America and the jail where Christopher Columbus was incarcerated.

Join us to visit this beautiful hidden waterfall in the greenest province of the entire Dominican Republic, Monte Plata. This is a 20-meter-high natural monument located in Bayaguana, where we will enjoy the clean air, the spectacular views, and the great flora that surrounds this wonderful waterfall. We will meet at the meeting point in the morning, to go to the waterfall 50 minutes from Santo Domingo, enjoying the landscapes that the road gives us along the way, we will talk about the history of the island, beautiful places in the DR and get to know each other better. When we arrive at the waterfall, Doña Ramona will be waiting for us, she will bring us some delicious organic coffee. Once ready, we will walk for around 15 minutes and we will go into the jungle to reach the beautiful hidden waterfall. It is a steep path but not difficult to cross. We will explore the waterfall, take photos in it, enjoy the water and the beauty of nature for about two and a half hours, and then return to the starting point to enjoy our traditional lunch, chat, rest, and then start our trip back to Santo Domingo stopping by un the three eyes cave learning about history and this fantastic place a beautiful nature monument, after that we gonna head to our meeting point.

Now, let's walk towards La Tarazana! On the way we will stop at the main attractions, the best bars to cool down, and other hidden gems. Main places that we will be visiting: - Santa Regina Church - Maraca Restaurant and bistro - Duarte Park - The Cathedral - Museum of Sugar and Cane rooftop - Fortaleza Ozama - La Tarazana - House of Rum Bar and museum I grew up in this area and is my favorite area of the city to party and hang out with friends/family so I know it well. I have lived in Mexico, France, Turkey, US, and Switzerland so I have a lot of friends from different nationalities who have visited and loved the experience, always thanking me for being their guide and having a great time. You’ll start in Santo Domingo’s Colonial Zone, we’ll see the Caribbean side of the old city, as we walk, eventually getting to the old city walls that once protected the city from pirates. We'll visit the Indepence Park an important landmark commemorating the Dominican Republic’s struggle for independence. Along the way, you’ll also have the chance to explore local markets, filled with fruits, vegetables, grains, and spices, as well as the spices used in Dominican cuisine. Learn about how Spanish and Arab immigrants brought their influence to the island. Discover the african - spanish religious syncretism of the Dominican Voodoo. We'll learn about the Dominican handmade crafts used in the countryside lifestyle and walk through Little Haiti and China Town to explore the small, picturesque businesses. If you’re getting hungry, our walk takes us to few of the most traditional local cafeterias and bakeries in the city, where you can try much delicious and locally loved treats

We will walk throught the "Sendero del Eden" where we will see trees and a beautifull cave named "La Cueva del Eden", here we will go into the Cave and observe the stalactites and stalagmites. Then we will visit our Fogón where we will grind cocoa, make casava like our ancestors and roast coffee. After that... We will take you to cave brujuela so you can swim under ground , a space with 15 meters below, with natural water, while you wait for the food to be prepared in the fogon. At the end we will have a surprise for everyone!!! To enjoy!!! Other things to note We will be outdoors, the caves are rocky so we must have safe closed shoes, sunscreen and repellent, we will use stairs, and we will have access to parking, bathroom and shower.

Welcome to your individual Bachata and Salsa class! As your personal instructor, I bring the excitement of Latin dance to you in an easy and comfortable way. We will meet outside at Plaza de la Hispanidad or Spain. Classes are for everybody. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or complete beginner. All are welcomed to enjoy and learn. Your private class is designed to meet you where you are, both your current dance skill. We will start with a brief introduction to the rich history and cultural of Bachata and Salsa. We will move at your peace. Looking at fundamental footwork, partner connection, authentic styling, dancing on beat, developing your natural rhythm and doing turns/spins.
