After that we will move to Shinjuku via the JR Yamanote Line (12 minute train ride) and show you the gritty side of Tokyo, showing you the tiniest of alleys and the main night-life spot. The tour/photoshoot is going to be around 2-3 hours. I will be providing you with 25-40 high resolution photos, post processed and ready to share to your friends and family. LET'S GET OUT OF THE TOURIST AREA where it is overpriced and crowded with people! This tour focuses on Ueno, which is not as crowded as Shibuya, Shinjuku and is less touristy. It is also famous with Japanese foodies for a good quality at reasonable prices. I'm going to take you to popular bars and restaurants for ONLY LOCALS (NO TOURISTS!!) where the staff speaks only Japanese. I will order signature dishes, and we will discuss the food and drink (and you can pepper me with questions). We will visit 4 restaurants/taverns in total, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered meat, etc. You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks (5 or more different type of drinks) and you'll be able to experience what Japanese taverns are like. After visiting these three taverns, we will end the tour at a great Ramen shop that is popular with locals. At the end of the tour, I will explain which train station you need to go, depending on where you go. You are going to have a full-size meal on the day in several different restaurants included ramen, so again pls come hungry!

I will explain about myself and share experience of travel many places by kayak. After telling the basics, it’s time to start paddling kayak by yourself. The course is mainly quiet and local residential area, so you will feel the real atmosphere of Tokyo. The attraction of kayak is paddling with only your power and feeling great sense of accomplishment after you arrived at destination. I’ve been fascinated with that and continued kayaking about for 20 years. I want you feel that super feeling as the same as I feel and the view of Tokyo from Kayak will be unforgettable memory for you! We'll start at the new Toyosu—the world's largest fish market. Watch Tuna auction first, also several Market shops, We'll then go to the outer area known as the Tsukiji old market and Tsukiji Uogashi, a new building with fish-selling areas, including a background area, We'll drop in for fish while experiencing the authentic and dynamic atmosphere of a wholesale market. After taking some shopping time at the outer area, we'll purchase a variety of fish and head back to Toyosu new outer Market name of “ Senkyaku Banrai”. We'll prepare for you at our restaurant Kaisekistyle lunch--Traditional Japanese Cuisine--, Kaisen Donburi—sashimi rice bowls—with fresh seafoods and more. After our meal, we'll have some surprise treats. Please note that the markets are lively and changing each day. Please arrive on time and be aware that the experience can run over time. Other things to note Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. The new market is so huge it will seem like we are viewing a factory. We'll go to the Tsukiji old market after that and enjoy comparing the two marketplaces. And at last, you can walk Toyosu new outer market name of “ Senkyaku Banrai “

You will make a green tea (Matcha) in an ancient style Japanese tea ceremony room wearing Kimono. First, you will chose your kimono. I will help to make sure that you are dressed correctly also your hair match the traditional styles. You will a selection of kimono in sizes appropriate for women, men, boys, and girls . Second, I will give you an introduction to the Japanese tea ceremony and associated rituals. Traditional Japanese tea ceremony will be held and you will make a green tea (Matcha), drink it, then eat Japanese sweets (Wagashi) which is suitable for the green tea. Lastly, you are allowed to take pictures in the tea ceremony room after the ceremony and in front of our unique backdrops! Other things to note You have an option to do the tea ceremony by sitting on a chair. Please let me know in advance!

We will explore the residual area of Asakusa, Tokyo's old town while stopping by my favorite places while visiting some of the must-visit landmarks in Tokyo (e.g. Sensoji temple with Tokyo Skytree view). We will eat at 5-6 local food restaurants and shops that are popular among the locals. Most of them have a very long history and small family-owned businesses. Throughout the tour, you will taste a wide variety of Japanese food and experience our unique culture. Other things to note This tour is run by either me or my staff. Food is included in the price. Welcome to No.1 samurai experience in Tokyo! First you'll change the clothes into "kimono" and "hakama" is samurai style. Introducing with tea ceremony Matcha green tea and Wagashi sweets Next we'll watch a real Japanese katana—a traditional sword used by the samurai of ancient and feudal Japan. Then you'll learn how to handle it with unsharpened katana. We'll also do a traditional Zen meditation. It's called "Rituzen". After doing meditation, you will be calm mind and you can cut one bundle of straw with real sword. Through using with real katana yourself, you can feel one part of swordsmanship as samurai. Lastly, you'll watch a performance using real katana by host. This experience has no flashy production, but you can feel the "real". You can enjoy not only training but also total samurai culture with this time. More than over 50country, over 3000 people joined. From families, couples to martial artists, various people touched and enjoyed the “real” samurai world! If you bring a camera, you can taking some pictures of samurai pauses which learning in this experience! This experience is also great for team building up to about 15 people. We will explore the greater part of Shinjuku, the busiest area in Tokyo to show you popular spots as well as hidden gems. We'll have a couple of bites during the city walk. We'll then head to two izakaya restaurants that are popular among the locals. Places we visit range from modern to traditional, and if you are looking to try just ramen and sushi, this might not be the right one for you. Throughout the evening, we’ll taste different Japanese foods and drinks, learn about our pub food culture and history, and spend time with other foodies. Also, we offer an optional sake tasting session where we will try 5+ different craft & seasonal sake at our own sake bar in Shinjuku before the tour at 3:30pm (optional & price not included). *We may have extra spots available even if you don't see availability. First of all, let's get to know each other with a simple self-introduction. 1. Choose your favorite antique kimono from over 300 types of kimono. (Kimonos are ranked in 4 levels. There are red stickers, blue stickers, green stickers, and yellow stickers. The price of this experience is the lowest rank red sticker kimono. On the day, You can also choose a different kimono (blue sticker +2000 yen ($15), green sticker +4000 yen ($30), yellow sticker +6000 yen ($45).) 2. Iron the hemming tape and put the loops through which the belt passes. Learn how to remake into a new kimono in various ways. 3. Coordinating the kimono you made with the easy-to-wear obi, obiage, and obi tightening. Wear it and take a photo. Other notes ・Men don't have a part called "ohashiyori" in their kimono. Therefore, men's kimonos cannot be remade to add length. For men, we have an experience to print the family crest and kanji of the name on kimono, haori, juban and make it into a jacket. ・There is an additional charge for purchasing a obi. [About the photo] Over 30-50 edited photos and I will send you 100-200 unedited JPEG photos on a cloud drive. (within 1-5 days) [Notes] Children can participate for free. 浅草正宗日本美食串行
We will explore the residual area of Asakusa, Tokyo's old town while stopping by my favorite places while visiting some of the must-visit landmarks in Tokyo (e.g. Sensoji temple with Tokyo Skytree view). We will eat at 5-6 local food restaurants and shops that are popular among the locals. Most of them have a very long history and small family-owned businesses. Throughout the tour, you will taste a wide variety of Japanese food and experience our unique culture. Other things to note This tour is run by either me or my staff. Food is included in the price. Let me know if you have any food restrictions or allergies. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate vegetarian food restrictions.
